SYSTEM is a company founded by Yasmin Iriel Frione in 2019, along with a talented group of performers. Over the past five years, the project has developed several stage works, including the trilogy"Escape Systems" and a pedagogical research project presented as SYSTEM training. Based in Buenos Aires, the company has toured extensively throughout the country, neighboring countries, and Europe. It has been a resident company in different associations and, thanks to various state supports, has performed numerous times at festivals and theaters. SYSTEM conducts physical research based on the fusion of contemporary dance language with acrobatic and performative elements. It focuses on the principles of deterritorialization of the body, ways to escape from a body influenced and affected by certain social and cultural patterns, and the idea of finding reterritorialization in new forms, building something more pleasant and reclaiming a connection approach. This theme is reflected in the works, in the nexus between participants and the audience, playing a lot with the thin line between what happens inside and outside the scene.

What is our current reality? The planet is experiencing extraordinary changes. We are in a particularly uncertain time in which the amount of stimuli that the human mind must process simultaneously sometimes seems unbearable. The speed of events and an incessant succession of interpretations that contradict each other further exacerbate the turbulence of the present. We must address enormous imbalances, both ecological and economic, social, political, and cultural. The hypothesis we uphold in this work is that the problems we face are systemic and all deeply interconnected. We observe an increasingly symbiotic link between the mind and machines.
